    Been busy today, heh.

I made complete reinstall of win10pro. Only installed what i really really needed to test things out. Same problem occurs.

So i finally decided to upgrade to win11, but i didnt use upgrade option, made usb and made fresh install. well.. same problem is still here. I get to login screen and pff its gone. Longest ive been able to get is to "main aurora screen" for about 1-2 secs and its gone.

    Now my windows version is:
    Edition Windows 11 Pro
    Version 22H2
    Installed on ‎12/‎08/‎2023
    OS build 22621.2134
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22659.1000.0

So what in the earth is going on now? i have two complete installs with different versions of windowes, but same problem? Even i am myself thinking its user problem (me) but what could it be? And everything else works, and i mean everything.
I also tried reinstalling .net updates as you suggested, didnt make any difference.

Look for errors in the Windows Event Viewer (Application) that pertain to Aurora and post them here.

Have you tried to clear out all the .net installs on your PC and see how it reacts then?
If .net is the cause of the issues, then getting rid of it for now until a new prompt for needing it comes might work.

Its an access violation in .NET runtime and that's all the errors tell us. It can be a bug in runtime or a hardware failure (memory or hard drive) or another process is interfering.

These are the possible reasons. With only that information and from the distance there is not much left we can do. You would have to do trial and error to eliminate possible reasons. Run chkdsk on hard drive. Perform a RAM test (best to do this on boot and not from within Windows). Shut down all user processes which are not part of the system. If the crash STILL occurs it looks like a runtime issue.

Something else you could do is try and create a dump file, which may (or not) show more information. Its described here: Link

Basically create one (or more if you like) environment variable. If you do that in windows you may need to restart windows explorer before it applies:

    DOTNET_DbgEnableMiniDump 1

You can share the dump file with me. Maybe it helps but no guarantee.

FYI: There is also a debug tool Link I've never used it but it claims to collect and analyze the dump information for you.

//edit: If you need help with that we can also try it together via Teamviewer or Anydesk

I tested ram, gpu, cpu and ssd's, everything works flawlessly.

I uninstalled .net frameworks and every update win11 had (only few but still) and installed everything back one by one and test again and again. Same problem occured.
I decided to reinstall windows and start again.
Well same problem. But now i was in situation that i dont have ANY other software installed, so the reason cant be any other program that i normally use.
I downloaded all .net files and c++ from microsoft again and installed them.
After all that, Aurora was running for about 5 hours . almost 99% of that time my computer was on "idle" but still, Aurora is running and not crashing. So this was progress, right?
I updated windows to up to date and tested, still works.
I installed (updated) nvidia drivers, soundcard drivers and msi afterburner, still works.
I installed eset internet security and add exclusions. Not working anymore. I uninstall eset internet security, but still not working.
I run eset uninstall tool and remove everything in safe mode. Aurora seems to be working again.
So.. problem is Eset internet security? But why all the sudden its the reason? even when i add exclusions?
I tried two different versions, latest you can download from the site and about 2-3 month old setup i had saved up on my "ready to install computer again usb". Both has same problem.
Also really weird part is that im 100% sure i used Aurora with that 2-3 month old versions, and i had no problems with it. Why do i have now?
I know that these are questions that you might not be able to answer, but just wanted to share this info.
I'm going to let aurora run while im sleeping and while at work tomorrow. Hopefully its still running when i get back home. If it is, then i think it works. Just shame if i cant use eset internet security at the same time, as that has been my trusted firewall partner for years now.

    edit:
Sad to say that i was wrong, it has crashed at 4AM.
