Just throwing this out there, the item duplication option doesn't seem to work. The quantity updates but any interaction with either the items or gold causes it to reset to the original value.
I totally tested it multiple times here. Note that some items have a "max value" that they can be.
But for gold, I was able to add plenty more.

As someone else posted, using the newly returned option using split, which prior to this patch worked great, will show the amount being updated on the screen, but any interaction with it (Splitting again, in merchants, in the case of consumables being used) it reverts to the original amount. Even saving and reloading reverts the amounts to the original values.
