Baldur´s Gate 3 Message Board  

While I see from Jones post that the problem is fixed for some users, my trainer is still failing to activate. I have the GOG version of the game, if that helps. Has been working fine til this update. Thank you. Just adding error message - hope it helps.

My apologies - it seems that I did not notice that the games updater had glitched, and did not update until i forced it to this morning. Yours, of course worked as impeccably as always. Thank you Calibre for another great trainer.

Well it still took 5 hours, but I guess compared to last time, "faster".

For us taking 5 hours to "update a trainer after a patch" is intolerable and it sucks.

This game is one of the absolute WORST when it has major patch. We have to just about start over, and anyone who has worked on this game will tell you that it absolutely sucks to work with.

Just throwing this out there, the item duplication option doesn't seem to work. The quantity updates but any interaction with either the items or gold causes it to reset to the original value.

Dang. I guess I oughta Subscribe to Lifetime Plus then out of sheer appreciation and support. Can't have you guys turn away from my current obsession ^.^

Seriously, though, thank you. With all the ways to replay the game, the ability to speed it up alone is worth the cost. I can't tell you how many hours you've saved me.

I totally tested it multiple times here. Note that some items have a "max value" that they can be.

But for gold, I was able to add plenty more.

I'm having the same issue, the value reverts or it CTDs. Maybe I am doing something wrong, here are the steps I took:

1. start game
2. start trainer
3. load save
4. press f1
5. drop gold on the ground
6. mouse over the gold
7. change value in trainer
8. lock the option
9. pick up the gold
10. talk to vendor
11. gold value resets or game CTD
