While attempting to F1 activation at the main menu of the game, I consistently get the "failed" voiceover from CH on using the latest version of BG3.
Firewall is off, tried alt tabbing F1 if the the activation button didn't work for the aurora aio trainer.
The programs are ran with admin privileges too.

I suggest you post that debug in Aurora bug report here Link.
The 0x90 can look at and decyher what is going on, because that is not a normal debug from trainer, but something to do with Aurora.
100 MB Patch today that seems to break trainer. I will use the update feature.
I've had an issue with the latest hotfix, too. It seems to break the "Always Max Approval" option. I've reported it via the update feature as well.

Same. I poked around with CoSMOS a bit and this one may be a bit trickier to fix (but I'm no expert).

I just tried all options on my side (steam), and all of the activate and produce no debug.
Can you provide some more info that may help us figure out what may be causing this for you?
