Baldur´s Gate 3 Message Board  

I tried a new game with all mods disabled and files verified and i still got the same result. My character was level 3, but when Shadowheart joined, she was level 1. Oh well not a huge deal

Just my two cents:
The forge items aren't all great, I would say that maybe the long sword is good amongst the weapons. The armors are the best, so I would just make enough copies as you'd like but there are better equipment you find in the game.

Even after update, using the duplication split item makes my game crash after using it once. Anyone else having this issue? Looked on other trainers and this thread but not seeing much information on it.

1. Auruora downloaded fine, hit .exe, loads ... however, every time I put my mouse over any part of screen seem to generate a file dump of some sort with cut and paste option .... typical of a dump debug problem.

2. All modern BG3 require you to run through Auruora so screwed! This is my first game to try to run after buying membership and nothing works. Why do all versions of BG3 (up to date) require Auruora?

keep saying something about system .dll not found, but Windows 10 just updated.... do we need to download other files.... not very clear for new users. Thank you

So I just encountered something...

I am level 12, going through the Shar dungeon, and just logged into the game, since it is finally the weekend and I need to decompress by killing stuffs.

Game updated and when I log in I only have the option to create a new character. I cannot load my save game!!!!! Has anybody else have this issue? I go into my save files through Steam and my character is there.

Any suggestions?

Yeah, post-patch when my game tries to auto save or I manually save, it CTD's. Gonna try a new character to see if it's just something bugged in that playthrough.
Edit - about an hour into a new toon, it started crashing on auto save after modifying stats.

Are you using any kind of mods? If so, check there first. Make sure all mods are updated, but most importantly that they are being loaded. You can change load orders, but it seems the game doesn't like when you stop using a mod that was attached to a save file...making removing mods a very complicated process.

Thank you for letting me know Subotai, but not playing with any mods, only CheatHappens with Aurora, which doesn't even load now. Starting a new game but sad about my druid 😭

edit: I turned off auto backup save on Aurora and reason it wasn't finding my druid. It is working fine now. Though now want to go to my new character and play a bard 😂
