Baldur´s Gate 3 Message Board  

With the trainer attached, I can get to the loading screen, hit continue or pick a save to load, the level begins to load, and then the program hangs.
If I start the game with the trainer attached, and load into a game, it works fine. As soon as I attach the trainer and try to change areas, the program hangs.
Is anyone else having this problem.

Hi rlane777.

That doesn't sound optimal. I tried the trainer on my end and I was able to make it work as normal.
Are you running any other programs that might interfere with the trainer/game?
If you don't then maybe try to verify/reinstall the game and possible Aurora.

Previously, I had rebooted several times and also verified the BG3 files in Steam and nothing helped.

I walked away from the computer for a few hours and now everything seems to be working fine. Sorry. I really tried to make sure this was not a sort of bogus error. It appears I have wasted your time and I apologize.

Not sure if this has been mentioned...but if you use the 'max approval', no relationships advance. You get max approval in the character screen, but none of the relationships will progress.

To be honest, this sounds like a win with certain companions 😂 Do you know if this impacts all of the companions or just those present when you activated this cheat?

I tested this out a couple of times and it seems to be working for me. Have you tried activating it, then adjusting the xp awarded?

i think relationships are event triggered, how far u are in the storyline and perhaps area based

just cos u are max approval with everyone , relationships don't trigger immediately

edit: i read this somewhere, in order for relationships to trigger properly ..u need to do long rests
