Stats editor working great for me. My issue is I got too greedy too early and maxed my stats at 30 and now i cannot level up. I've tried lowering my stats using the same method to raise them, SAVE, EDIT STATS (lowering to <30) SAVE, LOAD SAVE. Unfortunately stats still show maxed at above 30 for class buff. Any ideas how to reset stats or what i might be doing wrong?
Do you have withers in your camp? He is the guy that does respecs so try changing to a different class and changing back to the one you want again. Each time we change class, it resets the character back to level one so that we can level them up and set the various attributes again.
If you don't have him yet, you will have to play the game a little further. You can look up guides online on how to get him.
As the game seems to have some form of sanity check, it would be advisable to plan out your stat build and leave some space for level ups. There are 12 levels and we get 2 ability points every 4 levels so that means we get 6 in total. It takes 2 ability points to increase a stat after it reaches 10 iirc.
The maxmium that a base stat can be increased to through ability points is 15 (the max of 30 is after racial/equipment bonuses and so on). As such one of them should be left at 12 (or any other combinations to account for the 6 ability points) so that we can still complete the levelling up process. I would recommend leaving charmisma at 12 since it deals with dialogue and 12 is still plenty to clear most if not all of the early game ones - save scum if you fail due to a bad roll. Once your character has reached level 12, you can proceed to increase it to 30.
I vaguely recall facing the same issue in the divinity original sins games so it's not surpising that BG3 has the same issue since it is the same developer and possibly even the same engine.

Thank you! Yes, I have skelly boy in my camp. I'll change classes and keep my stats low as you suggested.
Just want to say thank you for the trainer, having great time with the options especially lucky dice, thanks for changing it to get the critical success. I prefer it that way.
To those poster saying they are getting roll 1 fail. It maybe due to the default option in your game setting. Karmic Dice or Die, I forgot the name but it is ON by default, It essentially force the game to give you a negative dice result if you get winning streak or force you to get positive dice result on losing streak.
I view a video guide recommending players to turn that option off since it will play into you losing dice roll when getting continuous winning streak and pretty much go against a true random luck rolls.
Edit: In my experience I turn off the karmic dice option in the game option menu and have never gotten a fail when using the trainer cheat lucky dice.

Wait where is this Dice roll always succeeds option? I submitted for it that's the only thing I want that I don't see.

Ok read carefully, the lucky dice trainer option give you a nat 20 roll which give the critical success result everytime. People sometime experience fail dice roll even with the trainer options turn on. This maybe due to your own ingame setting.
In the option menu go to gameplay tab and find the karmic dice option, untick it since it is ON by default. That option forces you automatically to get fail dice roll if you get success rolls multiple time in succession and vice versa force you to succeed dice rolls when getting multiple fail dice rolls. So it may be in conflict with the trainer cheat.
Edit: So i check back in the game setting, they did change the description of karmic dice after the hotfix update from"Karmic dice avoids failure or success streaks, while keeping the result mostly random" to "Karmic dice avoids failure streaks, while keeping the result mostly random" but I suspect it still effect the dice roll result when you continuously succeed. I recommend still turning it off with lucky dice cheat on.

Those of you having issue with Illithid point, are you sure it's the trainer? I don 't have unlimited move and attacks on, but I always have god mode and no item weight on (because I'm a hoarder). I just finished the goblin camp and my Illithid point was increasing just fine after I killed the two bosses.
In case you missed it, you don't really get the jar anymore in your item after the Illithid skill tree freature is unlocked. Your avatar will automatically consume it - hence why the jar is gone from your inventory and your Illithid skill point increases by one.
TL;DR, I've been using this trainer since launch and never had any issues being discussed in this board so I don't know what you guys are doing.
I am 99% sure its the trainer. Right before I click on the corpse that contains the worms I save. try a loot the corpse and it shows the worm in the jar and nothing else. Reloaded the save game , with no trainer and it adds to my Illithid total nicely. Shame there's no adjust Illithid total option as I lost two due to this bug, thinking there were in my inventory but nope

I've tested it and the same thing happened to me. With Unlimited movement on, the points don't go up (I don't have any mods!!).
I believe someone uploaded a Save already, let me know if you need another one! 🙂
