Just a head's up: I'm unable to edit ability scores. I follow the instructions in the Read Me, but it returns long value strings which do nothing when edited.
I had the same trouble at first. You have to save the game and immediately tab out to the editor without looking at the attributes. The editor will show the numbers anywhere from 0 to 8 or so. I found if I increased the numbers to 10 it would make the attribute around 18, 12 would make it 20, 14 would make it 22 and so on. Then you have to immediately save the game again and reload from that save. It then locked the attributes to the scores I set them as. You can do the same thing by playing with the numbers to get the exact attributes you want. 🙂

Getting an error when trying to run the v4 trainer (Steam, 4.1.1.3624901 game ver). No mods.

I would suggest rebooting your Computer and/or verify/reinstall the game and try again. If you still get the error message then please put in an update request

Has the game patched? Does your game version # match that of the trainer version #?
I'm noticing that with god mode enabled (also have unlimited turns on sometimes), the Illithid parasites you pick up are auto deleted from your inventory.
Noticed the same thing, picked up 4 no were registered or in the inventory.
Kinda thought my slug had died or something 😂
Not going back 3 hours worth of gameplay now, but I guess we should turn off those options before picking up the parasites.
yeah i missed a few this way too, not a big deal i just wanted to try them this play through plan on using them more on dark urge play through.
what i found is yeah if you just turn the options off before picking them up, it still "disappears" from your inventory as i think this is supposed to happen as you then get a "1" in the top right for where you can assign the skills.
