Cal - per my private message, here is a save file where you can test the abilities that aren't unlimited via the trainer as of yet - i.e. lacerate, breath attack for dragonborn.
Also, the player character is a caster so you can play with the spell slots limit to separate that out to its own option if you want. It has 4 level 1 slots, and 2 level 2 slots.
The save is right before the battle with the harpies in the cove. Move forward and talk to the kid to start the battle.
thanks for providing a save to the devs! i really hope unlimited spell slots gets its own option that can just be left on as you play. real game changer imo not having to long rest all the time
6-hour restart isn't that bad in the grand scheme of things. I'm sure there's plenty of people on here who have had to do something similar. Messing with the game's pointers and general memory will have issues. That's why you should be saving often and in different slots for those unintended consequences that pop up farther down the line.
I cannot even begin to imagine how difficult a trainer for this game is, with so many different addresses affecting other addresses. It's why I'm not surprised about the stats not working right or expecting them to work right anytime soon.
For sure! unfortunately I am a chronic quicksaver and it was well beyond after i noticed it was too late. I am definitely sure this isnt easy by any means. I was under the impression all EXP was shared across all party members even in camp, thats how it was in EA?, unless it was only an EA thing? or am I remembering wrong? Multiple websites and sources say it's that way at least too.. this is one from gamepressure. Maybe I'm confused!?
*All party members advance to the next levels, not just the main character. You have full control over their development and you can choose new subclasses or spells for them, among other things. This will allow them to modify their starting builds.
*Companions, those you left at camp, can also receive XP. This eliminates the need to juggle the party just to gain experience. You can receive information about the promotion of inactive people from the party after returning to the camp.
Also its more than 6 hours, it was 6 hours when i noticed, playtime is at 20 hours

This may be a little late for you, but you can increase the number of save slots in the settings menu.
Regarding your issue. Have you tried putting them in your party? From what I can tell, they automatically gain xp to match your avatar as soon as you put them in the party.
