I feel a bit nostalgic and Looked back in 2005. I remember having a Chaintech APOGEE 7VJL KT333 Socket 462 with a AMD Athlon XP 3200+ Barton. with a ATI All-In-Wonder 9600. With a sound blaster card. I think I had maybe about 2gb ram in the system. Seagate 500GB 7200RPM Barracuda.

Yes, had a TRS 1000 TX in 1985 and programmed an IBM 32 gargling RPG 2 = recollection of lots of great fun times 🚀

My first one was in 1996 486 cpu 4mb ram 16 bit sound blaster card 427mb Seagate hdd CD-ROM!!! Packard Bell 14' monitor
That pc was a beast and I will never forget how friends and friends of friends came to my house to see the wonder of CD-ROM and 16 bit sound. Those were epic times free of cares.

I fondly remember my bbc model b , using a cassette tape loader, later upgrading to 5.25" external floppy drive
I used it mainly to play Elite !
It still works, tho it's in a box somewhere

We are old now. My very first PC was a reclaimed 386 with 5.25" floppy drive. First "custom" build after that was through Gateway, heh. What I really smile for was 3DFX and the Voodoo cards. I am nostalgic for Glide.
