My suggestion is to put it in and update request as it seems others have issues and trainer hasn't been updated yet.

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Directly from the instructions in the game..

Important to ACTIVATE THE TRAINER AT MAIN MENU, and BEFORE you load a game! The best place to do this is where you see the CONTINUE or NEW GAME buttons.
