After seeing what the next game is going to be like, I have to say that I am absolutely impressed. Colossal Order has outdone themselves. The Number one thing I love about CS2, The power, water, sewage lines are all in the roads, kind of like SimCity 2013, as AWFUL as that game was, it was innovative in a few areas. It's sad we had to wait 10 years for another game to even come up with a similar system. I did see junction box buildings in the trailers, so I think they will be needed to keep the juice flowing. We are gonna have vastly bigger regions, so I can only imagine that electricity would have some sort of limits in place. Of course, I'm just speculating. Biffa and 2dollarsTwenty haven't elaborated on this part yet. One thing that the game seems to be leaning on is actual need for fuel, not just endlessly mining it, you'll need it for the vehicles in your city. That was one thing that never made sense to me in the first game. At least they are correcting that. To have some of the best mods baked into CS2 is nice, traffic does seem to be smarter, although prone to accidents, still they will use ALL lanes now. I'd like to see roundabouts get more love, the ones shown off in the trailers were barebones, no fountains, nothing. They should be focal points in the city. As for modular buildings, that is another thing SimCity did 10 years ago, glad to see it refined for this game. Apparently, you can have power plant districts, or at least clump them together in some way. We'll see. The stackable roads are killer, can't wait to see how that gets done.

Seeing how this is a new engine, I wonder if the Debug menu will still be accessible like in CS1? Or will there need to be a trainer for CS2?
