When a trainer is introduced for a game (such as upcoming Starfield Game for Steam), If a person wanted it to also be on Gamepass, would they have to put in a request for that platform? or once a trainer is released is it able to work on both or is the transition easy to do? (can you just copy same trainer over to gamepass game?)
Sorry if its a newb question as I see game is trainer is requested for Steam, but hasn't been requested for Microsoft Gamepass.. Just wondering how that would work?
We typically work on the originally requested version first. We don't allow simultaneous requests for multiple distributions. Once the first trainer is released then an additional distribution may be requested and funded. Depending on the popularity of the game, we will sometimes go ahead and work on a trainer for additional distributions before being requested and funded. Also, I would say around 50% of the trainers we make also work for other distributions right out of the gate such as a Steam trainer working for Epic and/or GOG, etc. Gamepass has the least probability of initial compatibility because of the way their games are coded. Gamepass is the most difficult distribution to make trainers for. Anyway, to answer your question, all distributions need to be requested and funded separately.
If a game from a specific distributor is given to CH while the Steam version is already owned (by CH), can it be made for both versions from the beginning...even if both codes could be identical?
You mean donated? If so then that would still be game dependent because some games might have anti cheat or something in one but not in other platforms yet in most cases the answer is yes.

Thanks, cool! 😎

Thanks for the explanation. I can only hope the trainer comes out for Game pass too . Especially looking for unlimited currency and stuff like that for the starfield (like God mode, unlimited carry, currency etc...). Thanks again for the reply... Will wait for game releases as I know it's made by Bethesda, so maybe the old ( ~ console commands) will work on windows PC version. Who knows... But, again, thanks for the reply.
