as of 1 July, the trainer is still not functioning correctly with the game. Attempted with multiple factions but the game crashes the moment you end your turn with the trainer activated.
Crashes upon ending turn:
1) Trainer activated but nothing edited or cheats used.
2) Trainer activated with movement cheat activated
3) Trainer activated editing gold
4) Trainer activated with knowledge edited.
I also noticed if you save a game, quit and launch the game without the trainer it still crashes. In order for it to work, you have to create a new game without ever using the trainer and it does not crash.
Amount tested: 11 games, 11 different factions. Crashes upon end of turn 1 or 2.
We own steam.
tested all those here, no issues, end of turn 5 times in a row, no issues

I also was getting the error now it just will not activate.
They patch it again.
Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.
Made a post earlier but it got removed not sure why.
Latest version does not work with GOG still and considering the stupidity of the update situation I don't blame you guys at all for it..
But I would strongly suggest that you guys remove the working with GOG text/logo since that's unfortunately not the case. I provided an exe last page if you guys want to try but at this point should probably just wait until the game is done for good. REDACTED
