I have the STEAM Version of the game and am frequently getting crashes upon ending a turn a wase into the game.
I noticed my pantheon point level wouldn't increase as it actually says in the in-game menu 'a cheat was used' so you can't progress.
Is there an anti-cheat now causing crashes? I put in crash/update requests yet they seem get tossed out. What files do you want from me to confirm this?

As others have shared in the past, the "always win auto battles" option can result in pantheon points not being gained. If you have used that option, then it's the likely cause of it. So avoid using that particular option if you want pantheon progression.
As for crashes, the game has issues of its own, especially after many turns. Have you tried playing without the trainer to see if it still crashes?
Not sure, but it seems the trainer does not work correctly with the factions of the new DLC: the option to control the number of skill points causes the game (steam-version) to crash. It sees the wrong number of skill points (please, see attached picture).
If it's a new DLC, then our trainer wasn't made for it. Trainers are usually only for base game.
aaannddd.. literally 10 seconds after we posted updated trainer yesterday.. they drop a new patch..

probably be 10 more this week, because like most games on steam now, the developers treat everyone like they are "early access bug testers" and wait for the paying public to find all the problems with their game so they don't have to.

Thanks for the update. And I agree completely. Patches on steam have gotten a bit nuts. I don't think steam charges devs for patches like xbox/playstation do and devs certainty seem to be taking advantage of it.
The one feature I want from steam is the ability to stop automatic updates and just play with whatever you have installed. That's honestly the #1 reason I buy games from GOG when I can vs steam.
