the reset play time option is still broken 😓
broken for you, but i cannot replicate.
new trainer I posted today is my last attempt.
I will either remove the option or make freeze game timer option.
The way it works, toggle on option, press ESC to see the game time. Toggle option back off. Then ESC to resume game, then ESC to come back and look at the game time.
It works 100% here.
I cannot use other people's saves, unfortunately, as (just like 100 other annoying things the developers did to this game) saves are not shareable.
This is my last word on it. I cannot replicate the problem here, thus there is no way for me to 'fix' what is working here.
best,
Cal
Thanks for all your work fixing it

It works fine for me. I keep it on and puts my time to 999999 but after hours of play when I press it again, time goes back to normal and it still shows 1 hour and few min, where I last left it and locked it in place.

So far, so good, Cal.
Since I'm already over eight hours of gameplay time, it's gotten me curious about seeing if I can find a way to edit the values manually. Which means I'd have to do some real digging to scan for increasing float values (I assume most time recording in games is done with float) and go from there. However, I'm willing to bet that it is easier said than done, as I'm sure that is something you've already tried to look into and couldn't find a stable way of doing so. Given how you described this game as being a right pain in the a** to work on, I'm thinking my attempt will be futile.
Edit: Yep, I assumed correctly. Even searching for all data types and value changes, and narrowing down over increases, doesn't pull anything substantial up. Damn, this game is a right mess.

That's interesting to know but I'm already in chapter 16 so there aren't hours left anymore. How did you lock them in place?
Just went on the game to play and all my saved games deleted, almost 20hrs worth gone and no idea if there's a way to get them back... not sure if anyone else has experienced this or if it's related to the trainer.
Trainer don't touch save games, unless it's a savegame editor, so I would check to see where they are supposed to be stored and find out if you accidentally deleted them somehow.

This would not be related to the trainer. If you use Windows File History then you can get them back. Maybe recycle bin. Ultimately the backup of your entire system that you perform every night in case your system fails, offsite upload preferably.
