Reinstalled game.
Reinstalled Aurora.
Restarted PC.
Launch Aurora and Steam as Admin.
Press F1 at menu.
Press F1 in game.
Launch game from Aurora.
Try with controller and kbm.
Created a new game save first, restarted and tried again.
Updated everything.
Looks like the trainer might have an issue, put your findings in an update request so it can be looked into.

The game had an update this morning - it has a countdown for the next update too shows 14 days and change when you open the game, I used the trainer last night for the first time and had no issue. Today, after the update, it will not activate.
I did also submit the info from the trainer and version number of the game in the update request form, but not anything about the update, because I thought I was just supposed to copy the error from aurora and put the version number.

I think there was a new update so rip, not working at all for me anymore
Yeah, today's Patch 01 and subsequent hotfix added/changed/fixed a lot. Mostly small fixes or tweaks, but from the changelog it looks like at least one thing was changed in about 75% of the game (building, audio, graphical, physics, etc). Not surprised it broke.
