So I just tried to run the trainer and received the following when trying to activate it from the main menu:

The file version for my The_Settlers.exe is 1.0.0.3 using the Ubisoft Connect platform, does this mean there's been an update since the trainer was released or is it some other issue on my end?

Sorry to hear it stopped working as intended after a game update. Unfortunately this is common.
If you be so kind and put in an update request what doesn't work. That way we have the report to look at when we test and fix the trainer.
