I'm experiencing the same save game issue. I can't nail down exactly what cheat option causes it as I've tried with just money, just sailor health, and all seem to be having an issue.

I've reverted back to using Cosmos and just scanning/tweaking a value when I need it then exiting Cosmos. i.e. just add money and close it, just add xp and close, just maintain supplies during a ground expedition, etc.

Alright chnaged some codes and added some new options,please remember always back up your save games before using the trainer and if save curroption happens again let me know.

Also let him know the EXACT sequence of events that caused corruption and a VIDEO of the process would be appreciated.

The sequence of events are, play game, use anyone of the cheats (i tested them all but the two others said they had the same problem with) play game until ready to quit, save game, next time I play, with or without the trainer activated, load save, and when trying to leave port, blank black screen, when when going to the tavern, tavern owner is there but nothing to select, as in the picture i linked to. if its the port, have to use task manager to leave, if its the tavern, alt-f4 works, as an option to close will pop up then. I have not tried it since the update, I will do this tonight though.

Edit, I've tried most of the cheats, so far the save seems fine, thanks, I guess it was just a game update that broke it, sorry if I got a bit testy earlier.

I also had the save problem, but after making a new game, I turned off the cheats before saving the game and so far I haven't had the corruption problem again, I think maybe the problem is saving the game with the cheats still on

.....or maybe the fixes that we made?
