Resources had to come out due to the complexity. Devil is still working on it but it might not actually be possible.

Maybe 3rd time's the charm.

So far V3 is working well. Properly maxes hull int, trust, and sets power use to zero. Seems like it takes a cycle or two for it to process.

Fast Con and Free Build are working for me also.

IMO we don't need resources if we have FREE BUILD. FREE & FAST RESEARCH would be nice though 🙂 Requested FREE RESEARCH, now someone request FAST 😉

The only way I could resources to work was by freezing the 4-byte values for each individual storage unit (in-game) but it obviously has to be redone after every load.
Unity is a PITA

I guess that would be one way, select storage unit and freeze/edit value. You only need one of each type in one sector and then you can ship resources to other sectors.

Research isn't too bad. It's a float value, while it displays as a percentage on the science building, it does tell you what the total required for the tech is on the research selection screen. Just work out around the percentage value and track it down by searching for the range it's on. So if it's at 21%, just look from 20 to 22%.

Even better, use the same idea, edit the space node resources, then you can just set it to a really high number and blaze through your research as you wish. Haven't tried space resources yet.
