This has settings? I can't find any gear icon or anything else that indicates settings.

Flakes disappear once you open a trainer. If you deactivated it in settings you must restart Aurora. Unfortunately, I forgot to mention that. But perhaps you already figured it out.

Since that 'avatar' was empty, I never paid any attention to it; interesting place to hide Settings.

We were tight on space in Aurora and it's pretty common for your avatar to take you to your account settings. It's that way on almost every site I am a member of.

There used to be hidden holiday emojis but I think they got wiped on the last emoji refresh. If someone wants to generate us a slew of holiday themed emojis the same size as ours then we can add them to the site. No idea where Peter got these from.
