Looking at my Installed Games only has my Steam stuff, even though I know for sure I have some GOG and Epic Launcher games installed, on the same drive as the Steam ones even.. is there any way to add a "search this folder and all subfolders" manual option somewhere? Like if I wanted it to check C:\Games instead of just Steam's installed library.
Edit: And yes, I did try and do a search.. gave me a 404.

It doesn't scan your hard drives, it scans the places where each distribution list their installed games. If the games are pirated it won't work. If the games are legit, I suggest you reinstall them in your distribution, so the information is correctly placed.

GOG games that you download from their site instead of through Galaxy don't have a specific folder, and I think even Galaxy doesn't if you don't tell it to. Neither do Epic games if you set them that way. I did this because I used to have a small 240GB SSD, so if I wanted a big big game to load fast, which I could only have 1 installed due to size, I'd put it on the SSD, play it, then dump it. Other games would go on the HDD. I have Axiom Verge (E), Hollow Knight (G), Jedi: Fallen Order (E), and Subnautica (E) in loose folders not tied to any launcher platform in my C:\Games folder. The (E) games were Epic Launcher freebies, and Hollow Knight was downloaded before Galaxy existed.

If you want missing games to appear in Aurora you have to install them through the distribution client. On GOG via Galaxy on Epic via Epic Launcher. The folder where they are installed shouldn't matter as long as they're installed via their client.
Aurora doesn't scan your hard drives and I have no plans to do that in the future. Especially because lots of information are missing, beginning with the distribution game ID Aurora needs to identify which game it is and which trainer belongs to it, ending by letting us know which the main executable is.
