I have the same issue. The edit JP only works for the starting initial job, but not additional jobs. I have tried multiple things, including changing the class and seeing if it only activates on the active class you are. But no, it only works on 1 job.

All the classes you assign into the fast equip menu get jp so maybe going for a multiplier are something will be easier then trying to edit the equipped job.
