I'm glad to hear its working again. Was it the new SD tool update or did you something else?
I think it was the SD Tool update.
I gave up on making changes to my Steam Deck setup a few weeks ago.
I am using cheatdeck plugin to be able to use aurora, it has been fantastic and I actually prefer this method after testing with the SD tool.
It was working fine the past few days, but for some reason something changed earlier -- whatever I do, aurora keeps on going back to foreground even if my game is set to window or fullscreen.
Switching via the steam button doesn't work either. This was working fine before. I even tried deleting the whole Aurora folder, and then reextracting the portable version and it still happens
Maybe you need to contact CheatDeck since you are using them instead of our SDTool which is the only method officially supported.

I nor the Cheathappens staff support plugins or software anyone else has created.
As I told another user if the deck doesn't work out of nowhere then maybe a decky plugin got updated and it could be interfering with your whole system. I would look into going back to an old version of whatever plugin got updated. It's not on Aurora's end since both the STL and SDTool can use it just fine. Cheatdeck just acts like SteamTinker and SDTool of launching both the game and aurora in one instance, so it's something on their end not Auroras.
