Unfortunately, the SD Tool update to 1.9.0.0 didn't resolve my issue regarding Aurora not appearing when launching Pac-Man World and other games expecting keyboard inputs. Ugh! Using Aurora on my Steam Deck was fun while it lasted. Hopefully, I'll discover a solution soon. I only have so much time I can devote to troubleshooting my issue.
Does SD tool still says Aurora is running or not?
ive been using the last of us part 1 on the steam deck OLED and every time i activate the trainer. The controls on the steam deck stop working and it makes me use the mouse and keyboard. does anybody have any ideas? I've ran using proton 8, experimental... same issue
Do you activate the trainer by switching to the Aurora window and pressing the activate button? If so maybe switching the window makes the game think you were using keyboard now. You could try opening and activating the trainer with the mobile app instead

Yes, the SD tool says Aurora is running with Pac-Man. However, the Aurora screen is nowhere to be found.

I have tried this and using the mobile app doesn't prevent games from displaying keyboard inputs. It is good to know that I am not the only user having this issue.
Yes, I just tried running in in the mobile app, and its still doing that. whenever auroa opens, the game switches to keyboard even though its set to controller input
