In the steamdeck tool when changing settings for the games is there a way to unselect proton version? I know when it’s blank it uses the latest stable version (8?). However if you select a version there isn’t a way to blank out the option again.

Side note, should we just leave launch aura on or also select to run it in the background and what’s the -window option at the bottom of settings? Just a little confused.

It uses the lowest available proton version by default. I'll consider your suggestion for next update.

Its not necessary to force it to background unless you experience issues and this might help. Same for windowed (which simply appends -windowed to the launch options of the game, the game must support it. Some do, some not)

For most games it's actually not necessary to make any changes, that's the main purpose of this tool.

The SD Tool 1.5.0.0 was working well for me. I upgraded to 1.6.0.0 recently and now the tool doesn't work at all. On some games, Aurora will not launch. On others, Aurora will launch, and I can enter text into the search bar using my BT keyboard. However, I can't launch any trainers that appear in the search results. What's up with 1.6.0.0? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

are you getting an error message? are you unable to click on the trainer to open it?

Have you tried using the mobile app to control Aurora on the SD?

I have tried to use the mobile app on my tablet to log into the Aurora app and the app tells me that it cannot find an active version of Aurora on my Desktop.

Also, no error messages are displayed.
