is very slow activation time (measured in minutes with a frozen aurora window during that time) normal? Once activated it works just fine, but its a PITA to have to wait 3-4 minutes before being able to interact with the device.

No, that is not normal. What game are you using? Are you using the steam deck tool or doing it the manual method?

I dont own that game so I wont be able to test it. I would try another game and see if you get the same results.

The fact that offline keys don't work for Aurora on the Steam Deck basically makes it pointless for me. Not being able to use trainers while offline on a portable gaming system on an airplane kills the whole thing.

You should also clarify what "Offline Support" means in the feature list for the tool because the only reason I bothered going through the setup was because I assumed that meant it , you know, works offline and not "it won't bother to launch Aurora if you're offline."

Offline support means the launcher works offline. And it fully does. Aurora doesn't work offline but you also don't see "Offline Steamdeck support" on Aurora's feature list.

I can understand that you're unhappy about this. But you shouldn't blame us. Blame Valve for choosing Linux and doing some "emulation" thing to make Windows games work on it. If they had chosen Windows, then everything (including all games) would work just like that.

If we would be able to make offline keys work on Steamdeck we would but we cannot for a simple reason. Proton isn't emulating things we need for it to work. So It simply won't work thanks to Valve.

If you want offline support on Steamdeck there is only one way: Install Windows on it. Or purchase a handheld which is using Windows. But if you want to use Linux / Valve's OS then please give Valve feedback that because of that you cannot use the programs you want.

Hey guys can anyone help me? I'm new to the steam deck and was wondering how to minimise the game to work with the cheat happens program as I can't get it to work on my mobile phone. Thanks
