Im using Proton 8.0 and it was in game mode. Without that option Aurora window was above game and NOT clickable (via touch). With that option enabled Aurora window was above the game and clickable (via touch).
I havent checked if the trainer works. I've only checked if Aurora gets clickable or not.
It still not letting me click anything in Aurora even with 'Force Aurora To Foreground and Focus' checked. I have that and 'Launch Aurora' checked with 'Proton 8.0' selected as my Preferred Proton.
Anything you can think that's interfering?
Check to make sure developer mode is enabled. With some steam os updates it turns it off.
Developer mode was still on and it didn't work unfortunately.
For Pathfinder:WotR go to your game settings and change your game from exclusive fullscreen to window. For the other games you are having issues with do the same. Take note that some games don't allow you to change to windowed and those games you are just going have to play in desktop mode. You can try adding ~sw or ~windowed as a steam command for those games but I doubt it'll work. Hope this resolves your issue.

So I have a question. After I launch a game with the tool, the game starts and the steam deck tool opens. However Aurora doesn’t actually start or have an option to switch to it. Have anyone else ran into this?
i havent tried the Steam Deck Tool yet so I'm not going to be the best of help right now. Have you gone to the edit game settings and check the box that says "Launch Aurora"?

Check log (tab) on Aurora launcher. Also it would be helpful if you use the launcher board page instead: Link
Currently things are going very well for me with the settings mentioned. Unfortunately, I have a phenomenon with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 where you have to replace the Start.exe with the one from Cheathappens. As soon as I do that and start the game with the launcher, I can no longer move around in the game. Is there a solution for this? I'm assuming you are using the steam deck tool?
Either way, go into graphics settings and change from fullscreen to windowed.
