Having the same issue...But if an update is on the way, I'll be patient since I'm also not very much of an IT-guy ^^
I would not call it an "update" but something "NEW" is on the way.

Thank you guys. I really appreciate your work! Parents Like me don‘t have much time and gaming can sometimes be frustrating. Just want you to let you know you‘re really improving someones quality of free time, so thanks for that.
I start the game on steam deck (desktop mode) and Aurora run right away but not loading (Aurora Status: Stopped, Game Status: Stopped); that's make the game won't load and stuck on launching forever. I closed the game; however, the game re-launch automatically; now the Aurora start to work using proton 8.0 and the game launching normally. I tried the option "Delay in seconds" but it's not working. If I launching the game on game mode, the device freeze. Game won't load and stuck on the Aurora screen like I described above. I need to restart the device and uncheck force the game running with Aurora.
you might want to mention that in the thread for that program Link
I'm trying to use Aurora Steamdeck Tool on my laptop (with Arch, Wayland/hyprland), but I am having issues installing it.
During installation, when I try to change the install directory, by clicking the "...", it doesn't update, it'll keep the "/home/deck/Downloads/Aurora", and I don't have that since it's not on a Steam Deck.
Running it through the terminal gives the message "Unhandled Exception: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path '/home/deck' is denied.", among other messages afterward (it's quite a long string of text, so unless someone wants it all, I'll spare you 😅.
Is there something I can do to force a folder change? Edit the installer? Anything?

This tool is written for LINUX/STEAMOS, not WINDOWS. It was made exclusively for the Steam Deck!! WHY IN THE WORLD ARE YOU TRYING TO RUN IT ON YOUR LAPTOP? IT SERVES NO PURPOSE. Sometimes I wonder why we even try. /sigh
