Is there a way to kinda reset steamticker on that game to make it go back to the way it was when first launched to see if I accidentally changed something
you can uninstall it via protonupqt then it will ask you something like delete everything answer yes it should delete everything including the prefix then just reinstall
I wondering if there is some update or if someone has a work around to this issue. The trainer does work on windows and I think I remember it working in proton 7.0-6 but unsure because unable to test this since new Aurora will not log in without Proton 8.0+. Proton 8.0-1 came out 4-17-23 where the lastest trainer was 1-19-23. Also odd that the Hotfix 4 trainer shows as Hotfix 3 when opened and in the Debug.

I think its a SteamOS issue and there is no fix. User Tacotuesday reported the same as you, I checked for myself and got the error as well. This just may be one of those games that will never have SteamDeck compatibility.

So games that don't have trainers in the AIO basically won't work with aurora on deck right? I tried installing the standalone version of Enter the gungeon and running it the same way I did the AIO, but it doesn't open/work at all, which is pretty disheartening.
Some people in the past have reported it working with some. From my experience with the few I've tested they didn't work. Some standalones don't start up up at all, some do. It just depends on the game I guess.
Hi I installed it based on the v3 video and it's not recognizing my game aurora says the game is active but the trainer says no it's not loaded
When I click load game it says app already loaded
Sorry I didnt answer when you posted about this on Sept 4th. I'm assuming this issue is still about Daymare 1994: sandcastle. I don't own the game so I can't tell if it works from my end. Have you tried to see if other games are working with aurora? Do you get anything on the debug screen?
