Wrong thread actually but yes, the trainer is not compatible so it won't show up in standalone trainers in Aurora.

I don't suppose anyone's had any issues getting Dragon Ball Z Kakarot working in Aurora on Steam Deck? Aurora loads in the background for me okay and *very* briefly I'm able to, like, move my cursor or begin to type but it's almost like a soon as the game loads it completely supersedes the controls and then I'm not able to select anything at all in Aurora anymore :/

As far as I remember the solution for that problem is to enable developer mode in Steamdeck and if that doesn't help run the game in window / desktop mode.

I am trying to play ac black flag on steam deck. I launch it with steamticker launcher. I put in aurora exe and change proton to 8.14. Then save and play. Then it goes to a screen that says 242050 game has exited 0 seconds. I can not figure out what is causing this.

I can't replicate your issue. My Black Flag is working fine and the cheats as well. "242050" is the steamapp ID so something is causing your game to exit and its not related to aurora. I would try running without Steam Tinker Launch see if it is exiting the game. If it runs fine see if you accidentally changed something on Steam Tinker Launch, you couldve toggled something.
