    Jaz10, thanks for replying! I’ll try your suggestion. I’m playing Spiderman Miles Morales (which, by the way, works amazingly on the Deck).

    I'm trying to use Aurora together with Scarlet Nexus on the steam deck, i got it all working per se, but i lose control over the aurora window a few seconds in, so i barely have time to activate and then it doesn't react to input any longer.
    Latest zip, preview option on, d3d option in STL off.
    Followed the updated video.

    I'm having the same issue with a couple game (FF12 and Crisis Core). I believe this is due to how the game manages the input of the mouse, to get around this I go to desktop mode where the mouse input is separate with each screen. In gaming mode the screens are overlaid with each other so the input of the game will affect the input on Aurora. So run it on desktop mode and I'm sure that will solve your issue. To switch between screen people have said they set up a back button to do that. I personally just use a $15 mini keyboard with a touchpad.

    Thanks, i'll give it a go using a bluetooth mouse

    Hello and thanks for the great work. I was told by a mod on discord to post this question here.

    I followed the latest Aurora guide for Steam Deck www.youtube.com/watch?v=pojN6fJzfc8

    Proton is set up with steamtinker. Dev mode enabled. I am able to launch a game with CH and I have been able to login into the trainer.

    Once I launch a game aurora is launched on top of it, but it's not responsive (ie i can't click on it). I can press the steam button and tab to my game and it works as intended. I can also tab back but still aurora is unresponsive. For some reason I believe it is not allowing input in aurora (as I can see the "mouse cursor" moving around but having a custom game icon).

    Any clues as to what is wrong?

    Ps. In order to run the latest proton version I couldn't follow the instructions per the video but instead had to "Download Custom Proton" inside of steam tinker.

    Hi D4maniac

    Play the game in desktop mode and it should resolve your issue. Had this happen with some games. Going to desktop mode is the way to go sometimes.

    As for the proton did you change the proton version on the "game menu" screen? It is further down the screen where you check mark the "fork custom command." Proton 8.4 is recommended but not exactly necessary.
    Hope this helps.

    @jaz10

    Thank you for the reply and for your extensive posts previously. I saw one of them mentioning what you are suggesting. Yes I've used the fork custom and chosen 8.4 (also tried GE Proton 8.6).

    Won't switching to desktop mode adversely affect performance? If yes have you noticed any differenes?

    My spontaneous thought regardless is that CH would want to try to get a work around (if technically possible) for game mode seeing as this is a advertised feature.

    @D4Maniac

    Yes, there will be performance issues, I personally haven't ran into them(except for ff12 which refuses to play on Desktop).

    I would agree that CH would want to get a work around for it, but I believe their hands are tied, since this is a game side and/or steam issue. Some games work perfectly with aurora, some not so well. If there was a way to have both windows have separate inputs that would fix the issue, but that would be on steam to fix. I have tried running aurora and the game separately but aurora wasn't able to detect the game.

    Overall, the 1.7.2+ update has cleared a lot of the issues people were having and have vastly improved the install process. CH has done the best they can with the limited resources and the non-existent support from steam. I'm glad they at least trying unlike some other popular cheat company that has said they won't be supporting the steam deck due to not seeing a large market for it. this is all just my opinion.
