So I'm just not going to be able to use aurora on practically every game I own. Is there going to be a fix made for this issue? It's really unfortunate that I can't use software that was working completely fine until this update.
No, there is no "fix" planned on our end. See my post a page or two back. Our Aurora programmer doesn't even own a Steam Deck.
I can give you a way to download 1.6.6 but you would have to somehow block it from ever auto-updating which I don't know if that is even possible without being in some kind of permanent offline mode.

I just got Aurora to work again. Hit the main menu. When you launch your game in steam tinker launch and then hit game menu. Scroll down to proton options. There's a drop down menu and choose experimental 8.0. then hit save and play and cheat happens will work again. I hope this helps you.
Thank you for this! Works for now.
The Steam Deck's days might be numbered if Asus can get the Ally's price in a close range.

Always good to see some good competition in the market, means great things will come of it. Only thing I do not like on the Ally is the offset control sticks. Touchpads I will miss as well. Hope to see a price on it soon.

The only thing I heard was that it would be under $1000. No idea if there will be multiple configurations like a 64GB version and more expensive 512GB version. Seeing as how the newly released AyaNeo Air Plus starts at $500, I would expect something around $600.
