I just got Aurora to work again. Hit the main menu. When you launch your game in steam tinker launch and then hit game menu. Scroll down to proton options. There's a drop down menu and choose experimental 8.0. then hit save and play and cheat happens will work again. I hope this helps you.

Does version 1.6.6 still work? If so is there a way to get those files still? Proton 8 or experimental is fine in some instances but plenty of games require a proton GE version to run... I need to be able to use GE like I was able to on the prior version of aurora.
Unfortunately not. It will always auto-update to the latest version. Maybe they will move 8 to GE soon.
