looks like the "easy research" option causes a CTD everytime now. i tested the other options and its def the the research one.

Can confirm the moment I activated fast research the game crashes to desktop

I too have same issue...fast research automatically kills the game.

"fast planetary development" doesn't appear to be working, planetary developments still take the default amount of time to complete.

"Easy Research" causes an instant crash to desktop now

Steam version

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

We don't own steam version. Won't be able to update steam for that reason, and since the developers now are staggering releases with different .exe at different versions, looks like unless you have EPIC which was the original platform this game launched on, then you won't be up to date on the trainer and your game is different .exe or version.

Nothing I can do about it.
