I've noticed just having the "Easy Construction" option on can cause some strange behavior in many of the worksites. You can still get it to work by only having it on when you build things, then turning it off once things are built, then save/loading the game. Once loaded things continue normally.
Yes, and note the requests for "instant build" this is as close as I can get it. Basically the game REQUIRES the animations of the building being built along and along. What the option does is remove the amount of materials the units need to bring, which makes it easier to build (since you might not even HAVE the material at all), and that they don't waste time bringing the materials to the site before actually building it.

is anybody game crashing randomly? is a certain cheat making it crash?
The game isn't exactly stable in itself. Plenty of folks complaining about random crashes as well as their PCs turning off in the steam forum. Even if it were due to the trainer, it would be primarily due to the game being so unstable that any attempt to manipulate it would be like working with dynamite. Don't forget that this is very very early access.
There's even a pinned thread about a particular error crash code. Maybe you can try that.

No, the crash happens without the trainer. If you have an Nvidia card, the game uses DLSS 3.7. Using a slightly older version, 3.6, helps with crashes and improves performance. Maybe it's not optimised that well for that version with UE4 as it is the latest version - it's more for UE5 imo.
- File nvngx_dlss.dll is located in \Steam\steamapps\common\Manor Lords\Engine\Plugins\Runtime\Nvidia\DLSS\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64
- Backup the file first, then replace with the file hosted here, the second one down www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll/ - you can always verify Steam install too to get original file back.
