I'm having trouble activating the trainer here. It's giving the below error:

11:31:43: Farthest Frontier, v0.9.2 (STEAM), Last modified: 03/28/2024 11:22:09
11:32:05: Successfully attached to Farthest Frontier
11:32:06: Collect Villagers, Script error in line 34: Cannot find aob for 'Set_Happiness'

Anything to do about this?

This game is currently patching very frequently and/or is early access with few downloads. It is counter-productive to continue updating the trainer under these circumstances. When the title becomes more stable and/or is out of early access, it will be re-evaluated for an updated trainer. Trainer updates for this game may still be released intermittently while in this status depending on our current workload.

Is there anyway to beg or ask nicely for this game to go from an on-hold status back to active for 0.9.3? I realize the frequent 0.9.2 patches were a major PITA.

Seconding a request for a v0.9.3 update, if possible. For full disclosure, the game devs do state there are 5 more major patches to come, and are aiming for v1.0 this fall.

the last patch was 4ish days ago, might want to wait to see if they push out the 1.0 patch and see how much they patch then

This is the link to the devs planned patches. I certainly miss the trainer considering that I love this game, and find it far superior to Manor Lords. I'd happily burn through some RC if I had that option to keep this game active.
