The free forging option does not apply for the buddy crafter. I'd suggest the option but I accidentally requested an option for Trials of Mana and it already had it. I was blind.
Also, I'd also request the ability to craft things from the crafting inventory for free. Like if I wanted to craft 100 pitfall or shock traps.

Due to the large game update I was not able to recover the trainer option.
