Mute Hotkeys:

To temporarily disable the Hotkeys, press CTRL-H after trainer is
activated. You can use CTRL-H to re-activate the Hotkeys as well.
You can also mute specific hotkeys by changing the hotkey you want to mute to 'NONE'.

the options for god mode, unlimited health and one hit kill work intermittently and/or not at all. I will activate the applicable option, but when fighting enemies I will be injured and when I hit the enemy, they rarely die in one hit. The options for infinite gold and unlimited moves function properly.

I'm getting the attached error message every time I run the Knights of the Chalice 2 trainer. Is there a way to fix this, please?

Sounds like the trainer might have an issue, put your findings in an update request so it can be looked into.
