Hi guys.
this game is a nightmare to work on. These developers are using a bs custom engine like they did for their other games, both of which we retired for this same reason, which is that they update in early access like every day and every patch effectively kills 95% of the trainer forcing a complete re reversal and re write of major parts of the trainer. This can be 2-3 maybe even 4 hours.. EVERY PATCH.
Its simply not going to be possible to support this game with that kind of ridiculous patch and overall rewrite issue.

So note that this game is now on hold. I doubt it will slow down patches, but you can reach out to us if they stop patching for a week or something.

While my job probably does not parallel creating CoSMOSs for games I am often tasked with repairing equipment in which I loathe working on. What would only generally take me a few hours to fix sometimes takes me days. It is painstaking work that in reality nets me no profit due to the substantial time loss, not to mention frustration and stress. However I do it because my clients depend on me to support it. If I turned work away due to it being difficult or unfavorable to me I would lose my clients....
With that being said I appreciate your efforts here and if you had said we cannot support this due to the extreme changes and time constraints I would be ok with that answer. If you said we cant support it because its in early development and we only support fully released games I could get behind that too. However youre choosing to not support it because its "too difficult" and the engine is "BS" forgive me for saying, but thats just not acceptable of an answer.
If things are too difficult or there is changes constantly, why not offer some type of reward program for someone to discover the cheats on their own? Or maybe offer payment? I would imagine there are some out there that could use a couple extra bucks and would be happy to assist on games they are familiar with. Either way just my .02. It was truly disheartening to read that you cant support this game due to the issues you stated.

Title now retired until it comes out of early access. Maybe even permanently. I'll decide later. We retired the two other games this developer made for this very reason.. members bashing me for being honest about how we have to deal with this stupid game engine, and it's a time sink. I may just go ahead and do that now and get all the bashing over with today rather then hear it for the next 10 months every other day this dog patches and breaks everything for the 100th time.
I have about 12 hours of other work ahead of me today and I started at 5am. I doubt many people here can even FATHOM the amount of work I have each day. This isn't the only game in existence, and frankly it's a patching broken ceaselessly updating mess.
If you think you can 'discover cheats on your own' and keep up with this title on your own for the next year of it doing this, have at it. Maybe by trying that exercise you will see the unique issues that come with it. Either way, I have no intention to have people bash me about this title when it's not my fault that it's programmed like it is, and not my fault that the updates require too much work to allow me to do other work at the site.
Thanks for your understanding.
best,

i think we should appreciate the hard work the people at cheathappens do for us all. and can appreciate that in these rare circumstances it can be too time intensive and counterproductive to spend so much time on 1 game at the expense of others.
so please dont be hateful. ask politely and be respectful.
that being said id like to try and offer people an alternative to freeze their cash in the game. as a way to get you by until the trainer is made functional again.
some of you might be aware of the program "CoSMOS" current version 7.4. it can scan much like the cheathappen CoSMOS scanner.
now so far ive only been able to get this to work with Solaris (cash) but im sure people can make this work with other resources.
step 1: start the game, load or create a new game. locate and exploit a spice field with a harvester.
step 2: load CoSMOS, open the d3d process for dune.
step 3: using the spice/cash slider, adjust it and look at the CHOAM cash income.
step 4: change the "value type" in CoSMOS from "4 Bytes" to "double"
step 5: add the value into the search bar for the CHOAM cash income eg. 35. Begin "first scan"
step 6: change the slider for spice income, check the value and enter that new value into the search bar eg 47 and hit "next scan"
step 7: you should now see a single value on the left panel, if not just repeat step 6. double click on that value in the left panel, change value to eg 500000 and press ok. then down the bottom panel hit the cross X check box to freeze that value.
you now will have a frozen income. when you restart the game the value will return to normal. but after 30mins of gameplay you will have banked millions and that will last you to the end. so you wont need to repeat after restarting.

So, why does this not work the same in CoSMOS?
