I know that I'm not supposed to download the *NEW* trainers, they are builtin into Aurora, I was talking about *OLD* trainers, as the thread title says.
I think that this is still a much lesser functionality than the TM.
1. In the standalone trainer's tab there's no way to sort the old trainers by usage or to favorite them. I suspect that after a while this list will be long and not friendly for frequent use.
2. I'd appreciate Aurora to at least automatically extract the downloaded trainers.

This is exactly the problem. Good post. Hopefully the mods listen and dont just flame you for posting what we all want.
The old trainer manager was far superior to anything available to us customers right now. All old trainers that were built prior to Aurora are incredibly difficult to use, manage, update, .... everything ....
The fact is, the old TM was perfectly functional at doing all of these things, and now its gone, and no replacement exists.
Best regards.

Sorry, but you are incorrect in stating what you "all" want. Read the PLETHORA of "thank you for Aurora" posts on the 3 Aurora boards. Or maybe check out the now $643,000 we have raised to have Aurora created (Link). Typically people don't spend an AVERAGE of $138.00 EACH for something they don't want. Just for the record, that amount of money comes out to 6,495 LIFETIME MEMBERSHIPS. In 4 months.
I will agree with you that we didn't put much "love" into Aurora for the old standalone trainers, because we have been breaking our backs to convert over 20,000 of the most recent versions of those standalone trainers to be Aurora compatible. A job we started back in OCTOBER and is still ongoing. I'm sorry that we are not moving at an adequate pace for you, but we will eventually get there. The bottom line is that we can spend our time, the huge amount of money raised and additional resources on adding features and improving Aurora (like with the new upcoming mobile app that will be Aurora exclusive and work 100X better than the one we have today) or we can spend it on working on additional functionality for trainers that will be receiving NO MORE standalone updates and that we hope will all be phased out later this year, making the old Trainer Manager defunct. If you like the old Trainer Manager so much, then keep using it for those old trainers. No one is stopping you. It still works with them and it can run alongside Aurora just fine from what I understand. So have your cake and eat it too as the saying goes. We have to put our resources where the majority want it, and that is AURORA. We would of loved to keep updating both apps and every trainer for both apps but it's a ridiculous amount of extra time and money for our staff to do, not to mention double work for our trainer makers who would ultimately put out less trainers in the process.
I feel where you are coming from and I'm sorry things haven't worked out the way you wanted them to. But no one can stand in the way of innovation. We MUST move forward or our competition passes us by. Then there will be no Cheat Happens, only OLD ASS HAPPENS that no one will care about. Much like MySpace, which perhaps you still have a profile on and are just waiting for its glorious comeback, who knows.
End of rant.
