Would be great if we could edit the code and not just the value...this is pretty worthless as it is right now. Has none of the options, no debugger, no way to edit and create anything other than values.
It has a memory viewer and you can edit the instructions. Debugger would rely on the inbuilt debugger of Linux, which can only attach at one process per time and requires sudo rights. This is too complicated for most of our users who don't have the same level of game hacking experience. As for the rest, you can freely use any available debugger yourself already including the Linux debugger by using the terminal.
I still don't see Linux as a gaming OS in the future. And I also still don't see Valve as a company bringing out good quality of software and hardware. I still got the Valve Index and it still has the power bug where it just remains black until you re-plug the power supply. A known bug for years now. It's not fixed.
What I am trying to say is that we shouldn't spend more time on the Linux version of Steam Deck with all its restrictions and obstacles. You can install Windows on it, install Steam and use Cosmos Advanced which has a VEH debugger and everything you need. Or you just use the Steam Deck as a mobile gaming device without cheats, like your smartphone or a gameboy.
You can perform an alt tab operation from big picture mode without keyboard. Press the steam button from within your game and go to your library then load CoSMOS as non steam game. Now with both programs running you can swap between them inside the 'Steam' button menu.

Sorry, but how can you launch CosMOS from steam library when it needs to be launched in terminal with sudo command? Could you please give instructions on launching it from steam library on steam deck?
