Aurora Bug Reports Discussion

This is how it looks on my screen with 1440p monitor and text scaled to 120%. At 130% and 140% it gets worst so for now I have set it to 120% in my display settings.

The game name text cutting off , under thumbnails, bug is still there in version 1.2.1

I have a 4k screen and set DPI to 150%. Using Windows 11 and the text is NOT cut off here. If you only have changed the default TEXT size in Windows (not related to DPI) then you need to undo that.

On 1.2.2 the game names are "fixed" (by having a fixed font size in Aurora)

I changed scale to 125% and kept text at 100. But changing scale does not work for me as it scales not only the TEXT but also icons and everything else. Also, Aurora interface becomes huge as well which allows less entries to be seen at a time.

Since it is an accessibilty issue so please consider that if it is possible to allow text size to change based on accessibility text size and not DPI scale, which affects every single interface item and not just text. Many thanks.

The problem with just text scaling is that we have several items which have a fixed width or height, this is sometimes necessary. This is also (one of) the reason why we cannot offer a setting for changing the overall font size in Aurora. Only scaling text will cause the issue you currently see where text is cut off. That's why DPI scaling is better because it scales everything.

Like I said I can fix the text being cut off by setting a fixed text size for it. But that also means the text will no longer scale for you.
