GPU throttling on Aurora Bug Reports Discussion Message Board - Page 1

Aurora 1.1.4. Might not be an Aurora-specific issue but only happens while Aurora is running. Used Aurora for the first time today. Ran Age of Empires IV, latest patch, Steam. Used to running it with the pre-Aurora Cheat Happens trainer (thanks guys, appreciate all the hard work). Have never had GPU throttling before today when running this game. The GPU fan sometimes throttles when I have it on its second monitor (a tv), when both at 4K and HDR. But it has never throttled in Age of Empires IV, even on the second monitor under those conditions.

Today, GPU fan kept throttling. It was on its primary monitor only, running at 1080p at sane person settings. Borderless fullscreen. I exited Aurora, that being the only thing different today, and the throttling ended within 10 seconds.

go into the setting of Aurora and disable hardware acceleration

Thanks very much! You know I was eyeing that setting before I launched for the first time, but you're right that I left it on.
