Aurora Features Requests Discussion

My request: to add something to make aurora compatible with steams new hand held gaming console (steam deck)

No problem, please ship me 4 of them so we can check for compatibility.

lol, i just pre ordered mine today (the 512gb one) just to try it out and see how it is. and i thought it would be cool af if aurora was compatible with it so i wanted to throw out the suggestion

Yeh, we would like to know as well but since we are not psychic, we will need for you to also pre-order us 4 of them so that each of our programmers can look at it.

Steam Deck uses Linux OS. You have only two choices:

1. Try running Aurora in Proton. I've never used Proton, no idea if it supports it.
2. Install Windows OS, according to Valve this should be possible.

But then you probably have an issue with the limited screen size. Also activating trainer options can be tricky. I see less chance that this will work very well. I also see less chance this device will be a huge success after the reviews. Valve also isn't known to be successful on publishing hardware (Steam Link) or even software (SteamOS).

They may have finally got something right after 5 tries. I'll still take the AYANEO any day over the Steam Deck.
