I've tested it quite a bit, and used it since it was first added to the trainer, I know how to correctly use it. It's not working.

Die as a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become a villain.

Just to be 100 percent sure, I tested it on Beastmen, in battle, which I used it on last night, and units are still losing health.

Can confirm that god mode is indeed not working properly. Did it with the new Shape Shifter in immortal empires and noticed damage being taken after shields drained.

No,all of the trainer worked except the god mode cheat for units right after patch 4. Everything still works now, even after the hotfix, BUT the god mode cheat.
