Aurora Features Requests Discussion

Reason: Aurora window takes too much screen space because of all the whitespace around text and controls and what not - can you make everything more compact or at least add a setting where I can set a scaling factor or something?

We will add it to the top of the list. So, are you running 800x600 or 640x480?

Font scaling wouldn't help that much because a couple of elements are fixed sized or the size depends on images / icons instead of font.

Could you make a screenshot and show us what exactly is too large in your opinion so we can get an idea?

@PWizard - you're funny, 1996 called and wants its resolution back.

@0x90 - see attached - that is a portrait 4k 16:9 ratio screen.

There is no attachment. It has to ends with .jpg but you can also zip or RAR it (them)

I also want to send you a video that features some weird rendering artefacts I'm getting (I'm actually getting those in most of the new trainers) - I'll rar that up in a future post and in a separate thread maybe under bugs.

So, you're running a 3840x2160 monitor, but in portrait mode, is that correct? And also, using any DPI scaling? I'm also curious to see these video artifacts that are visible in the latest stand-alone trainers. Can you zip all that stuff up and link to it off-site for us to review? (but PM us the link please).

I have 3x 4k screens, two horizontal and 1 vertical. Scaling is at 100%.

I'll follow up with a pm of the video after I make it.
