Subject in Short: Notification for compatibility.

Hey there,

Could we get an option to receive a notification when an older trainer becomes compatible with Aurora? For example : Days Gone. It's not such an old game that the trainer is too out of date, maybe for the game page there could be a toggle to receive notice of integration?

Great work so far everyone, design is beautiful.

Aurora doesn't know there is a compatible version until you visit the game specific page in Aurora. This could only be something to add to this website. I'll leave it up to PWizard commenting this one.

there is already a notification on the site you can see it if you go to the god of war page Link it shows "Open in Aurora"

@Nookman: I believe he wants to receive a PM/Email notification when one of his favorites games is getting a trainer update which runs in Aurora. The button "Open in aurora" doesn't send any notification it just opens this trainer in Aurora.

Exactly this, on the website there could be a tick box to track the trainer (on already existing trainers) and notify (pm or email) when the trainer receives an update adding Aurora compatibility.

Maybe a script could be made to automate the notification when the Aurora flag has been tripped. This wouldn't apply to trainers yet to be released/made as their first version would already be compatible.

With the upcoming redesign maybe this could be a feature.

As for Aurora, when you launch the client and log in, maybe it could query for trainer notifications on the individual's account when it does the check for account status (if it does that check, I've no idea).

I just think it'd be a nice QOL feature for a lot of us.

I'm on the fence about this one as we are getting close to having the latest trainer of ALL stand-alone trainers moved to Aurora so this functionality would only really be valid for a short time and our programmers already have a laundry list of things to do. Will put this on the backburner for now. Thanks for your input though.

I'm thinking 'bout when Aurora will be years old and most would have forgotten the hard work you've done, but it's now you need the applause and pat in the back only to keep the legendary CH smile in the face of so many relying on your creation(s)!

Out of curiosity how does this work for trainers with different ones for multiple platforms? for example PREY 2017 can't use epic trainer for those with steam/gog/gamepass version but only the epic trainer has an aurora version but I for example own game on steam
