Use this one from the start of the game. You have no self-damage, has infinite ammo and AOE one-hit kills. Just make sure you don't hold E to replace it with other guns on the floor. It doesn't disappear when you die or reload the game.

Why would they patch it out if it was an included Easter Egg? At most I could see them just removing the weapon for the final 1/3 of the game, so you cannot cheese it. But until then, hellfire shall rain down upon my enemies in a fiery judgement!
