I too was getting CTD even with no options activated. Though it looks now like they've reset it and there are no longer any update reports filed, does this mean a new version has been posted?
Doesn't seem to be the case unfortunately, or if it is, the current one is having the same issues. Just downloaded again, and with the trainer activated, it still crashes as soon as you get into combat.

Yup, there is no change. I also re-downloaded the trainer.
The game crashes as soon as you enter a battle with the trainer activated, even without the overlay.
You don't even need to activate an option, just the activation of the trainer causes the crash as soon as you get in any battle.

Yes that's what's happening to me as well. Hopefully it'll get on their list soon.
It is on the list, I am sure of it.
But we must be patient, because they are working on a way bigger project right now, the All-In-one App.
This Pixel Remaster does not obtain the highest priority.
So, even with 5 Update Requests and the boost, it may take a while.
